Midnight Diwali

Diwali - the Festival of Lights. It stands for light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. It’s my favourite festival! Beautifully lit diyas, delicious sweets, exchanging of gifts and best of all dressing up in your newest outfits.

This year I’ve put together a traditional Diwali look with a modern twist.

Cut/style: The cut of this comfortable pajami suit is everything! The crepe silk is such a breathable fabric, that is what makes the outfit so comfy. It gives you structure at the top and leaves you looking like you have an hourglass body.

Colour: Blue is my favourite colour. I opted for a midnight blue in this piece as it symbolises loyalty, confidence and intelligence. That’s exactly how I felt when I looked at my reflection in the mirror.

Embroidery: The key to my heart embroidery gives the outfit a very chic look. It’s got a very interesting handwork materials combined. This includes resham thread work, woolen thread work, sequences and beads to gives it some sparkle.

Matched with: The mauve lips added a pinch of drama in my makeup. I accessorised with hoops which give a 90’s vibe. I finished the look with translucent heels.

Thanks for reading :)

Hope you guys have the most amazing and blessed Diwali!
